- You know, there is the small matter here of there being more Statisticians
- than applied analysts (yes, I know that Stats can be viewed as a branch of
- applied measure theory, but that doesn't change the fact that more people will
- be interested in the material covered in J. American Statistical Association
- than in Applicable Analysis). I don't think that comparisons between the two
- Journals can tell one much.
