- I am working on doing a non-linear fit and I have heard that the Marquardt
- algorithm in Bevington's book "Data Reduction and Error Analysis in the
- Physical Sciences" is a good one to use. Is this true? If not, can you
- suggest other non-linear fitting routines. I would prefer not to use the
- IMSL libraries, simply because I want to do this on a P.C. Thank you
