  13. The original date of publication for Poincare's The Value of Science,
  14. according to Tim Poston's 1971 Thesis on Fuzzy Geometry is 1913.  Even
  15. earlier, 1905, is Science and Hypothesis; my Dover reprint has 1905 as
  16. the date of the translation.  Science and Hypothesis speaks of light
  17. as the domain of projective geometry and seems to anticipate Einstein.
  18. The chapter on Space and Geometry has an extremely interesting study
  19. of psychophysical issues.
