  20. Please don't do this, except as a *last* resort.  Email first, flame if you *must*,
  21. but, darnit, writing to the sysadmin is an attempt at censorship.  Many people on
  22. the net are posting with the *implied* permission of their "owners", (me included),
  23. and would very easily lose their net priveleges (and that of their entire site) if
  24. there were complaints to the sysadmin over net behavior.  I try to watch myself,
  25. but I wouldn't want to lose my net priveleges because of another person's posts.

  27. On the other side of the coin, I also have an account on a public access system, and
  28. I assure you that writing the sysadmin over netiquette issues would be a royal waste 
  29. of time.

  34. ObRC-crash: My first RC glider crash was when a kid rode his bicycle out onto the 
  35. grass field (a sod farm) from which I was flying.  Not wanting to chase the kid 
  36. off (he was very inquisitive, and polite), I went over to stand near the bicycle, 
  37. so I wouldn't hit the only obstacle on the field when I landed.  Yeah, right.
