- |BTW, Robert, you can get good results, when complaining about posting technique
- |and/or etiquette, by e-mailing to postmaster@whatever_site. This also prevents
- |embarassing the individual on the net
-
- Please don't do this, except as a *last* resort. Email first, flame if you *must*,
- but, darnit, writing to the sysadmin is an attempt at censorship. Many people on
- the net are posting with the *implied* permission of their "owners", (me included),
- and would very easily lose their net priveleges (and that of their entire site) if
- there were complaints to the sysadmin over net behavior. I try to watch myself,
- but I wouldn't want to lose my net priveleges because of another person's posts.
-
- On the other side of the coin, I also have an account on a public access system, and
- I assure you that writing the sysadmin over netiquette issues would be a royal waste
- of time.
-
- Much better to try to solve the matter through email, don't you think?

- ObRC-crash: My first RC glider crash was when a kid rode his bicycle out onto the
- grass field (a sod farm) from which I was flying. Not wanting to chase the kid
- off (he was very inquisitive, and polite), I went over to stand near the bicycle,
- so I wouldn't hit the only obstacle on the field when I landed. Yeah, right.
- Left wing (of 11 foot ASW17) broken in two at midpoint.
