- The SAAB dealer who I go to for my warranty stuff uses European antifreeze,
- I believe he gets it thru BMW. The stuff is BLUE, not green. As to what
- the difference is, I was told, but don't recall exactly, other than that it
- goes for about $15.00/gallon and they STRONGLY reccomend it. Note that I
- don't feel this is just a case of the dealer trying to pull the wool over
- my eyes, as they are, I feel, above that. It was something about different
- additive formulations & better corrosion protection. As somebody mentioned
- elsewhere, SAABs have been known to clog up due to the VERY narrow
- passages in the radiators/heater cores (better heat transfer, y'know).
