- I have a 92 Ford Explorer XLT, 4.0L V6, performance (limited
- slip) rear axle, automatic, 4WD. I get about 16 mpg around
- town and at least 20 mpg highway. A friend of mine has
- a similar Explorer except that he does not have the performance
- axle. On a recent trip to Florida he got around 24 mpg.
