- I used to have one years ago in a Saab Sonett III. The engine was
- rebuilt, and on the initial start after the rebuild it kept dying
- every minute or so. The mechanic junked the Allison right then and
- there, and switched back to points. Never once had an ignition
- failure after that...

- If you want a real electronic ignition, go with a Mallory or MSD. My
- advice on the Allison is to pitch it. Even points are more reliable.
