  13.     My 1977 Chevy Caprice wagon has the dreaded "GM Headliner Droop"
  14. - the layer of foam rubber between the cloth and the formed cardboard
  15. roof liner has deteriorated badly.  The Chevy parts place says replacement
  16. headliners are not available.  I could take it to a trim shop, but I'd
  17. prefer to do it myself.

  19.     J.C.Whitney sells both headliner kits and bulk headliner fabric
  20. (either with or without foam backing).  According to the description,
  21. the kits seem to hang below the existing headliner on bows, taking about
  22. 1/2" of headroom.  I would prefer to make it as close to original as
  23. I can, so I lean toward glueing foam-backed material in place of the
  24. original stuff.

  26.     Anybody have any experiences/thoughts you'd offer me and the millions
  27. of other GM Headliner Droop sufferers in netland??
