- If you can remove the cardboard shell, think about using a mastic-type
- cement. You want something which keeps to itself, i.e. not solvent-heavy,
- so you don't get it bleeding through the material. The stuff for wood
- flooring might be good. Spread it over the cardboard, thinly, with a putty
- knife. Remove as much of the rotted foam as possible. Smooth the headliner
- onto the form. You only get one try.
