- I recently upgraded a DECstation 5000/200 from Ultrix V4.1 to V4.2a. When I
- went to restore my user files from several multi-TK50 sets, the following error
- was generated from cpio:
-
- Phase Error - Get help!
-
- This error was independent of the order of the tapes, the vintage of the tapes
- (several were tried), the TK50 tape drive (another was tired), etc.
-
- What does this mean? HOW DO I GET THE DATA BACK?
-
- The tapes were generated with:
-
- find . -print | cpio -ovB > /dev/rmt0a
-
- and were reviewed via cpio -itB < /dev/rmt0a
-
- Any constructive thoughts would be appreciated! [if this in the FAQ, please
- direct me to it's location!]
