- Some additional questions about SLIP:
-
- I thought I heard somewhere at sometime that there is an undocumented flag that
- you can tell slattach to do header compression on a DECstation. Is this true?
- Is it the -c parameter. I timed things with it and without it and there is no
- difference. It didn't give me an error when I put the -c on there.
-
- I am using CUTCP v2.2d. There is an option in the config.tel for vjc header
- compression. Is the same as the compression that may exist by using the -c
- on slattach?
-
- Is slip usually this dog-dirt slow over 9600?
-
- Thanks
