  14. I've a Problem with the BIND-Nameservice on Decstations runnig ULTRIX V4.2

  17. named starts without Problems and will work good for 2-3 days.
  18. Suddenly he creates Megabytes of output into the syslog file:

  20. Jul .......  localhost: 221 named: accept: Too many open files

  25. If i try to restart named with kill -1 221 then named will terminate.
  26. Then i start named again and he will work some days - until he gets the
  27. next too many open files problem.

  29. Trying to remove this Problem i've built the kernel with smmax 2048
  30. (I've read this here some months ago) - The same result.
