- I try to manage ~40 DECstations and a number of Suns.
-
- On the DECstations we use BIND/hesiod to manage our passwords, groups etc.
- I would like to integrate our Suns into this environment (rather than using
- NIS on the SunOS and Ultrix machines). Is there a BIND/hesiod package
- available for SunOS machines?
-
- (In case it doesn't show, I probably don't understand the implications
- of what I am asking for. eg Am I going to have to replace Sun's passwd(1)?)
-
- Many thanks for your help,
- Bevin Steer, Unix Systems Manager, CLW Campuses.
