  18. The SCO X11R4 server supplied with ODT 2.0 (which is not unlike the
  19. X11R4 server shipped with Update G for ODT 1.1) utilizes a dynamic
  20. loading technique whereby, to support a particular video board or
  21. class of video boards, we load a file in the directory
  22. "/usr/lib/X11/dyddx/..." into the memory space of the server then
  23. execute its contents.  These files contain the actual rendering routines
  24. for a particular class of cards, so all SVGA video card servers use the
  25. executable code in /usr/lib/X11/dyddx/mw/XDriver.o.

  27. To support new (and old) video cards "all" we need to do is supply an
  28. XDriver.o file and a grafinfo file.  Microfield has such an arrangement
  29. available for the T8.  Give them a call for details on this and other
