  25. (note that the docs say things about what happens when you define one
  26. key for two different things, like erase and intr). I thing to make the
  27. backspace key operate as the DEL key (ie do what the DEL key normall
  28. does) you want stty intr ^H.

  30.   And when doing whatever it is that you're trying to do (I admint it's
  31. not clear to me) did you put the changes on the 2nd set of parameters?
  32. The first set are used when presenting the login: message, the 2nd after
  33. the username has been entered and login is actually called.
