- I have a CTOS computer and both backup tapes abd backup floppies.
- The computer is dying and I can't get to some files I wanted to transfer
- to unix (I planned on using a serial connection). Also, I don't
- want to put any more money in the old computer so I need a way to
- get to my backup files.
-
- The CTOS machine made 5-1/4 in floppies at quad-density so they
- held about 720 k (I think) and the tape drive is a 60mb QIC drive.
-
- My unix machine is a 386 with 5-1/4 and 3-1/2 in drives and *no* tape
- drive <backups are a bummer:-(> and runs SCO unix 3.2.2 with the
- development system.
-
- Does anyone have a device driver that will let me read those decidedly
- non-standard floppies, or have any hints on how to set up the current
- driver to let me read them.
-
- I will summarise if there is any interest.
-
- Thank You
- Brian
