- I am using SCO 3.2.2 and for quite a while have had problems getting
- lpsched properly start during boot. The lpsched process starts running,
- but attempts to use lp or lpstat give an error message stating either
- lpsched is not running or is unreachable, and lpshut claims print
- services already are stopped.
-
- Yesterday I tried moving S80lp script in /etc/rc2.d to be executed after
- all other stuff in the directory and experienced the following: at
- first, lp services work like charm until, about a minute later, I get a
- console message
-
- WARNING: lckdioctl: 1 lock(s) not reclaimed
-
- As the error message in question is not covered in any of the manuals I
- have, I have no idea what I should do next. I already tried increasing
- FLCKREC kernel parameter just for the heck of it (and just why setting
- it to anything else but 100 makes configure complain I'm seeking
- trouble?), but that did not solve a thing.
