- If this is a FAQ, I apologize profusely.
-
- I have an IBM 5081 16" color monitor as the console of my RS/6000. I use
- it as my personal terminal.
-
- I tell our users that they have to log off the system if they are going to
- leave their desk. They do a pretty good job of remembering to do so, even
- if they do grumble about having to do it.
-
- However, it isn't going to look very good if I make them log off, but I
- don't log off myself. Unfortunately, I routinely have several (try 10 to
- 15) windows open running different applications. Many of these require
- several keystrokes to exit from cleanly. A lot of them can cause trouble
- if I just do a Ctrl-Alt-Backspace, and kill everything.
-
- Is there any way to lock up the terminal, so that I could walk away from
- it in good conscience?
-
- Granted, I'm lazy. But it would be nice to do.
-
- Thanks for any assistance.
