  10. We want to set up a stereoscopic viewing device on a RS6000 but 
  11. the sync signal from the monitor doesn't cooperate.

  13. Anybody has done this with a Risc?

  15. Our set up includes a driving box that accepts monitor's sync signal
  16. (with Green video signal), and then controls a pair of goggles.
  17. The same setup works on a SGI IRIS and Amiga, as well as other
  18. standard video equipment (eg VCR).  The box is from 3DTV.

  20. On the scope it appears that the video signal from GREEN contains
  21. negative component which is different from SGI or usual VCR.  But
  22. shifting video voltage to all positive doesnot solve the problem.

  24. We have another, not commercially available, driving boxes  (from Toshiba)
  25. that DOES work with Risc monitor but we don't know why.  And as
  26. said, it is no longer commercially available.

  28. (The monitor models tried are 2011-19 and 2011-20).
