- We want to set up a stereoscopic viewing device on a RS6000 but
- the sync signal from the monitor doesn't cooperate.
-
- Anybody has done this with a Risc?
-
- Our set up includes a driving box that accepts monitor's sync signal
- (with Green video signal), and then controls a pair of goggles.
- The same setup works on a SGI IRIS and Amiga, as well as other
- standard video equipment (eg VCR). The box is from 3DTV.
-
- On the scope it appears that the video signal from GREEN contains
- negative component which is different from SGI or usual VCR. But
- shifting video voltage to all positive doesnot solve the problem.
-
- We have another, not commercially available, driving boxes (from Toshiba)
- that DOES work with Risc monitor but we don't know why. And as
- said, it is no longer commercially available.
-
- (The monitor models tried are 2011-19 and 2011-20).
-
- Can anyone help? I tried to call the local service centre and
- just could not get through.
