- Our publications group converted from troff to FrameMaker just before I came on
- board. From listening to my colleagues, troff was a complete nightmare by
- comparison. One example: in order to see the result of formatting, the document
- had to be compiled and printed over-night. Then, _next moring_, one could look
- at the print-out and decide if, for instance, a certain column of a table
- needed to be widened.
