- We're working with 5"x8" pages, and I'd like to print them out side by
- side (i.e. two per page side). Even better, I'd like to print them out
- on both sides of the paper, ordered in such a way that we could staple
- through the center to have a pseudo-finished "sample" of the publication.
-
- Any way of doing this?
-
- To make things more complicated, the printer only prints on one side, so
- I'd have to print them out and then take them down to a photocopier which
- can photocopy from single-sided to double-sided. Ideally the pages would
- be printed so that they could be fed straight into the copier and come out
- in the appropriate order.
-
- I.e. with 16 pages you'd want a double-sided printout to come out with:
- (The middle horizontal line represents the top edge of the page)
-
- ------------- -------------
- |page1 |page16| |page3 |page14|
- ------------- => ------------- =>
- |page2 |page15| |page4 |page13|
- ------------- -------------
-
- ------------- -------------
- |page5 |page12| |page7 |page10|
- => ------------- => -------------
- |page6 |page11| |page8 |page9 |
- ------------- -------------
-
- Is there any way to do this?

- Second Question:
-
- I've been having some trouble with master pages. I set up a
- left and right master page, mirrors of each other (each page has a
- wide column, and a thin column on the "outside"
- edge for comments, etc). When a new left page is created it
- seems to use most of the formatting from the left master page,
- i.e. graphics, headers, footers, but the two main text frames
- are out of place. Reapplying the left master page does not
- fix the problem. Any ideas?
