- On the HP 35450 drives a few additions need to be made to the files
- /sys/scsi/targets/{stdef.h,st_conf.c} and then a new kernel compiled.

- On the HP35470/80 drives you must either apply the kernels mods or
- turn dip switch 6( performance bit ) off on the bottom of the drives.
- This is for maximum throughput.

- You can use the drive without any changes( at least under SunOS 4.1.? ),
- but the DAT will crawl. I believe some vendors will ship the drive with
- the correct dip switch configuration.
