-
- Yes, we did provide a command line interface for apanel, though its
- functionality differs slightly from the UI; you don't get stereo
- controls from the command-line. From the -help option of the Media
- Mosaic (4.0.5MM) version of apanel:
-
- bebop:cook> apanel -help
- Usage: apanel
- [-pollInterval n]
- [-nofork]
- [-monitor]
- [-meter]
- [-mute]
- [-inrate rate]
- [-outrate rate]
- [-inlevels {0-255}]
- [-outlevels {0-255}]
- [-source {mic, line, digital}]
- [-dbscale]
- [-nodisplay]
-
- The -nodisplay option sets the levels without bringing up the apanel
- UI; this is useful for shell scripts n' such. Most of these options are
- also available in pre-Media Mosaic versions of the tool.
-
- As Dave mentioned, you can also write a program using the AL
- to tweak the hardware state; that's all apanel is, anyway.
