  17. I have several IRISes.  I have more than several researchers who need
  18. to use these machines for molecular modeling.  I have many academic-
  19. domain LARGE programs for molecular modeling.  I cannot even begin to
  20. convert these from GL-code to X-code.  If I could run these programs 
  21. UNCHANGED on X-terminals (yes, I know it would be slow), every one of
  22. our researchers could have his own X-terminal to work on, rather than
  23. waiting in line for an IRIS.
