  16.     With a few programs that I occationally (example, script, irc and
  17. screen) on a sgi machine running iris 4.0.4 I get this message:

  23. And I assume this is a pty/tty problem? I know that the way to get your pty
  24. has changed from 4.0 to 4.0.4 (now use _getpty function?) but I've tried
  25. to put the example given by the man pages (man pty) into one of the programs
  26. that generated this error but it didn't change anything.

  28.     I guess it is my code that does this since rlogind, telentd works?
  29. Has anyone had a similar problem?
