- As far as the SIMM's go, the + (and, yes, I'm holding my applause) can
- use any 1 meg chip you care to slap in it. Although, it can't access anything
- faster than, I believe, 120ns. So, if you put 70ns chips in there, to the
- computer they will still be 120ns. (Apple finally got a clue with the IIci
- and designed it so that it won't recognize anything slower than 80ns). But,
- it's still a good idea to get the fastest ones that you can, so that, in the
- unlikely event that you ever decide to upgrade, they will be compatable with
- your new machine.
- As far as HD goes, that's a tricky one. I know that the +'s had some
- prob's with SCSI-type thingamadoobers. There were only ceartin (sp) things
- that would work. You may be able to get an internal drive and put it in the
- case for the other. But then there are other concerns about termination and
- such. I can't help you much there.
- Just keep in mind that there is a proven formula for the best way to
- accelerating, and possibly expanding your +. it is as followa:
-
- ** 3.2 meters/second squared **

- just another worthless piece of information,
