- I am contemplating the purchase of the new Diamond Stealth 24
- when it comes out. I have a couple of questions for any
- Stealth VRAM people out there:
-
- How do you tell the board what refresh rate to use in each mode?
-
- 1. Dos TSR intercepts mode switches?
- 2. Load settings into volatile onboard mem, persists from boot to boot?
- 3. Load settings into EEPROM, persists between power on/off?
- 4. Jumpers/dip switches?
-
- Also, I've heard that the vga emulation is slow? How slow is it?
- Would you notice the slowness while playing Wing Commander or some
- other graphics intensive game that uses 320x200x256? How about
- text mode apps?
-
- Thanks.
