- Hi, I was reading about VGA (in advertisements, no less) that
- described their VGA cards as 16 bit color. I though VGA was 18 bit, brokent
- down this was: three "words" of 6 bits, each word being a number between 0
- and 63, one word for red, one for green, and one for blue, thus providing a
- pallette of 63^3 colors. So why did those ad's label VGA as 16 bit?
