  11.         Hi, I was reading about VGA (in advertisements, no less) that 
  12. described their VGA cards as 16 bit color.  I though VGA was 18 bit, brokent 
  13. down this was:  three "words" of 6 bits, each word being a number between 0 
  14. and 63, one word for red, one for green, and one for blue, thus providing a 
  15. pallette of 63^3 colors.  So why did those ad's label VGA as 16 bit?
