  20. I was asked to summarize to the net, and was not quite ready to do so, but
  21. here goes:

  23. If you have an HP9/800 and want to fax from it. RUN, do not walk to the phone
  24. and call Devcom. the number is 708-574-5066.

  26. the TruFax product is fantastic. It has been a long time since i was so excited
  27. about a new piece of software.  We had them ship us an everex modem as well 
  28. and from day one, this has been functional. It has a clever user interface as
  29. well as a collection of 2 dozen programs to manipulate fax images. It comes
  30. with Ghostscript to let you fax out postscript files, it has a ljIII emulator
  31. to let you fax out HPCL. an X windows client allows you to view faxes on the
  32. workstation. you can set up a modem to fax out only, in only, in and out for
  33. faxes, or in and out and a command if non-fax modems dial it (getty(1m) for
  34. example...)

  36. I spent one day 'playing' with it, and another day writing a printer model for
  37. it. lots of fun. It comes with a 30 day trial, but I was so overjoyed, that 
  38. after one day I went to the admin people and told to sent out money immediatly.
