- Well, I ftp'd Wordhound yesterday and I'd like to congratulate Ian on an
- interesting and rather nice app.
- Suggestions for the future:
- I couldn't find antidisestablishmentarianism (:-) fatal mistake), which
- lead me to wonder how to add words to the system.
- Scrolling only works for drag-the-marker type scrolling; button scrolling
- and paging do nothing. (On my A540 w/ROS3.07)
- The templates define the maximum entry word length as 23(?) chars -far too
- short. I changed the template to allow 35 as an experiment and it seems to
- accept it, but of course this might be causing memory overwrite somewhere.
- I suggest expanding it to some ridiculous number like 512 or so. That should
- give plenty of room for future use (German say)
- Heavens, there must be loads of neat things to add! Make it a module, with
- a SWI interface for others to use. How about an indexer prog, so that any
- bunch of text can be added and searched quickly.
- It could end up better than NeXTs notebokk thingy!
-
- I for oe will volunteer to help do some of these things if Ian is too busy,
- though I'm kinda busy too. There's lots of us here, lets all help.
