  25. I have tried drag-saving an empty file from Edit into SrcEdit (and
  26. StrongEd) on an A5000 and there was no problem at all. I have had no
  27. trouble with my own programs transferring data to StrongEd either,
  28. after I fixed up my newsreader code to implement the transfer
  29. properly. Before that the only problem I had was StrongEd refusing
  30. to accept that I file I saved from it was 'safe'.

  32. StrongEd refuses to accept that a file is safe until it receives a
  33. Message_DataLoadAck (4) to end the transfer. It is one of the few
  34. programs I have seen which does anything with this message, and as
  35. such can be considered a very strict implementation of the Acorn
  36. standard in this area...
