- One of my co-workers has been tasked with deciding which software version
- control system we should use. Us Unix types are pushing for RCS-CVS, but
- she wants to be thorough. So what other packages are available? We know
- about SCCS, RCS, CVS, and PC-CVS. Names of packages to investagate are
- fine, short evaluations of the product is better. Best are platitudes for
- RCS-CVS and slams on everything else :-) (nothing quite like an open
- mind).
-
- We are running SunOS 4.1.2, if there is an equivalent package for PC's
- Karen would like to know. We have no CASE tools, just make and gcc.
