  15. I am about to try xntp3 on a Sparcstation 2 running off a moderately
  16. busy ethernet connected to the rest of the world (NEARnet) via a 9.6kbps
  17. link (sigh).  There is no local clock.  Under these conditions

  19.     -- what should I set my parameters to?  tick, tickadj, etc.

  21.     -- what kind of timekeeping performance should I expect

  23.     -- will it work at all?

  28. I wish there were some addendum to clock.txt which stated the best setting
  29. that experience indicated for different common hardware.  Somewhere I heard
  30. that for SS2 tick should be 9999?
