  12. I would like to try broadcast mode NTP, and seem to have no luck.  On one
  13. subnet I have an xntpd3 process running with broadcast to my second
  14. subnet.  Etherfind shows that I get a broadcast packet arriving on second
  15. subnet every 64 seconds.

  17. On that subnet I have a second xntp3 client with all peer lines commented
  18. out and a single line of

  22. I have no evidence that it is working.  Querying with ntpq shows no
  23. associations, and after setting it to a wrong time there is no evidence
  24. that the time gets reset (waited over ten minutes).
