  32. It will work.  I once ran the old ntpd over a 9,600 baud line before we
  33. had ethernetted the whole campus, and know of people within NEARnet who
  34. were doing what you are doing exactly.

  36. You will loose some accuracy because of the delays when big ftp's are
  37. going through the link, and may not want to bother the stratum 1 servers
  38. since their greater accuracy will be wasted.  Send me mail if you want to
  39. chime with one of my stratum 2 servers.
