  10. I have a setup where our NIS server is a local AIX server, but the main
  11. nameserver is a different machine. On our server, /etc/resolv.conf
  12. points to ts (the nameserver) and most Internet names are resolved in
  13. this way.

  15. However PC-NFS is told that the NIS server is our local
  16. machine, and NIS or PC-NFS do not seem able to make the jump necessary to get
  17. the names for PCs from ts.

  19. Is there a way round this?
