- I have a setup where our NIS server is a local AIX server, but the main
- nameserver is a different machine. On our server, /etc/resolv.conf
- points to ts (the nameserver) and most Internet names are resolved in
- this way.
-
- However PC-NFS is told that the NIS server is our local
- machine, and NIS or PC-NFS do not seem able to make the jump necessary to get
- the names for PCs from ts.
-
- Is there a way round this?
