- I would like to hear from anyone with experience in mounting an NFS server from
- platforms with different OSs like VMS, MVS, Macintosh, Unix, etc. These OSs all
- have different file structures and I would like to know if it is possible to
- share text files across all these platforms via NFS. Since it involves several
- NFS client products and since the client is responsible for interpreting the
- data from the server, I am concerned that a given client won't recognize the
- file structure that another client placed on the server.
- Also, do all NFS servers/clients create a separate attributes file and are they
- compatible with each other?
-
- Thanks,
