- I've had relatively good luck with the orch009.zoo package of
- Tseng drivers. I use a "VGA Master" et4000 card with "High Color"....
- But so far I've stuck with the 16 color drivers due to the fact that the
- desktop colors in OS2 seem to change the pallet in ways I am not prepared
- to cope with!
-
- (try a 256 color background pic... under the desktop. Odd colors in the
- pic result)
-
- I've also had "black Icon" syndrome... and been unable to fix it!
- (after the "Black Icon Fix" I now can experience "Black Icon" with the
- standard vga drivers!)
-
- Ive had "mouse droppings" (slightly random mis-colored pixels, usually green
- or blue) after the bouncing padlock screensaver kicks in... Recon that's
- a hardware problem (New card should be here today, same model).
-
- Anything I can do to help you folks? I have OS2 up and running
- 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Running PM, lots of dos boxes, and the most
- colorful 800x600 I can get. I do kick into 1024x768 for odd tasks frequently.
