- OS/2 Support - 800-237-5511
-
- They will ask for a "customer number" - just say "OS/2 Help"
- If they give you a "reference problem number", make a note of it,
- and use it in any further calls re THAT problem.
-
- If they give you a "temporary customer number", make a note of it,
- and use it in the future instead of "OS/2 Help"
-
- On a related, but somewhat trivial note, some GA packages (mine is 3.5",
- I don't recall whether 5.25" packages were affected as well) were
- shipped without a value for the "registration number", which should have
- been printed/stamped on the 5.5" x 8.5" (14mm x 21.5mm) registration
- card which was the middle third of a tri-fold sheet, and which has the
- title "Registration Card for OS/2 Support", and a Business Reply to
- an address in Boca Raton with "Attn: OS/2 Support Line" on the rear side.
-
- If you have one of these, do not fret, you can call the Support Line and
- register just like anyone else, except, when they ask for the number,
- you won't be able to find it.
