- Yes. I have a Pro IIs and just upgraded from a 14" to 17" monitor.

- No you shouldn't. I just had to do some mild tweaking with svga on/off, xmode,
- and stuff because my 14" monitor could only handle a refresh of 45Hz
- interlaced at 1024X256 and the 17" could do much better.

- I got the Nanao 550i. It's great and seems to have a better list price/
- street price ratio than other 17" monitors. I think list is about $1700 and
- I got it for $1040. Expect to pay in the $1000-1300 range in general for
- a 17".

- The Nanao 550i and MAG 17f were both PC Mag's Editor's Choice in a recent
- comparison of 17" monitors. I also looked at a Viewsonic 7. Nice monitor,
- but for $10 more I thought the Nanao was a better deal.
