- I'd have to agree with you there. When I worked with small systems, I
- was amazed at MS's understanding of the marketplace (advertising, sales,
- phone support, etc) compared to IBM's total lack of commitment. What
- little commitment IBM had was bogged down in their lunatic self-imposed
- restrictions.

- Looking at it now from the corporate level, almost the exact opposite is
- true. IBM is in there, plugging away with OS/2, while Microsoft is
- delegated to the sidelines, trying to get their act together.
