- Well, I got 0.96cpl2 to compile and run (using the 0.96cpl2 source from
- Banjo's Incoming directory), but I'm having a slight problem. (Apparently,
- I'm about the only one--I haven't seen _anything_ on this subject recently.)
- It boots just fine--ps, w, free, etc. works, but I can't get 132 column
- video modes. I saw an article posted by Linus which said something about
- this (I thought), saying you could just use the old setup.S to get the old
- video modes. Unfortunately, when I did this, Linux couldn't find my
- HD controller. (Neat trick, as it's on the motherboard IDE. :-)
- Under previous versions, I had no problem getting the SVGA modes (132x43
- on my Dell and 132x44 on my Northgate).
- Can someone help me get 132 columns back? I've looked through the source,
- but my knowledge of assembly language is virtually nil, so it didn't do
- me much good...
