  13. I am solociting support from all BNR employees on my intention to
  14. create a local dsp users group. 
  15.  
  16. For those who are working directly/indirectly in dsp, there are occasions
  17. where we need to communicate with other "dsp users" about information,
  18. problems/solutions, experiences in using certain sw/hw products, new
  19. algorithms, warning to others etc. Often we just need to pose a question to a
  20. group of BNR dsp users who might potentially have the answers.

  22. What a better way to do any of these things via a local dsp users group.
  23. I realize that we have this global dsp group; but I believe there's 
  24. still a need to have a local one of our own, where the problems/issues we share
  25. are more "common" than with others outside BNR.

  27. To create such new users group, I need to have some "vocal" support from
  28. you who believe in the need for this dsp group. I have spoken with
  29. several BNR employees including some managers here at Carling lab, and
  30. they all felt it was a great ideas. If you support the idea, please reply to
  31. this open letter and voice your opinion. I was told that only when there
  32. is sufficient demand before a new group can be justifiably created.
