- With all due respect, the new "redesigned" Telepaths work
- rather well. I have seen a number of modems based on the
- Rockwell RC144AC chipset, and the new Telepaths are amongst
- the best ones. The original Telepath was rather a dud
- though. We have two of the new modems, and they have been
- performing flawlessly, connecting to every V.32bis modem
- that we have thrown at them. Sending and receiving faxes
- from 3 different fax-machines (admittedly a poor sample)
- has also worked without problems.
