- This isn't true for *OUR* MVS/XA system (2.2.3) ...;-)
- My MVS/XA Config Program Guide (GC28-1335) says more or less the same
- as the MVS/ESA version : "If you use the catalog from the previous
- generation <...>. Make no deletions. Make additions only at the end".
- No explicit mention of the Master Catalog !

- Actually, when I changed or deleted obsolete UNITNAMES, I have always
- checked the usercatalogs for esoteric entries and had them re-cataloged.
