  11. We run VTAM on MVS/ESA and NCP on a 3720.  We have a 3274-61C configured
  12. for 16 BSC terminals with 4 currently attached.  Two are 3179s and 2 are
  13. PC 3270s configured as non-SNA DFTs.  The terminals are used for CICS
  14. transactions.  A particularly "big" CICS transaction causes a PROG476 on
  15. the 2 PC 3270s but works on the 3179s.  (Other smaller CICS transactions
  16. work fine on both types of terminals.)  The explanation for PROG476 in
  17. the 3274 CU Desc and Prog's Guide says the DFT's buffer overflowed.

  19. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT THIS BUFFER PROBLEM.

  21. I looked at PC 3270 config procedure in 3270 CP User's Guide and Ref,
  22. tried different log modes, looked in NCP Resource Def Ref but couldn't
  23. identify a solution.  I found some VTAM buffer keywords and the CICS
  24. system programmer mentioned something about in-bound and out-bound
  25. buffer sizes.  Can anyone tell me where I should be looking?  Thanks.
