- When people do this to me, what I try to do is:

- 1. Tell them that when they ask for my feelings and then say "You should
- be grateful...." that I get angry. and say: When you ask me for my
- feelings/thoughts do you really want to hear them without judgement?

- 2. The next time they ask me for more feedback I will try to remember and
- I will ask them if they are willing to hear it and just listen without
- trying to fix my feelings. If they say no, then I don't give it. If
- they say yes, then I try a little bit and see if they honor their
- commitment to just listen.
