  3.     Canvas allows some short-cuts using
  4. quick key presses instead of having to
  5. find the options on the menus
  6. themselves. The most common options
  7. have accompanying keys:

  9. Key Stoke:  - Function:
  10.  
  11. D           - Delete file
  12.  
  13. <Escape>    - Erase current work
  14. screen
  15.  
  16. <Help>      - Brings up the help menu
  17.  
  18. L           - Load file
  19.  
  20. Q           - Quit
  21.  
  22. R           - Rename file
  23.  
  24. S           - Save file
  25.  
  26. <Space Bar> - Alternate between main
  27. colour and secondary colour (rep. col.)
  28. on work screens only
  29.  
  30. <Undo>      - Undo
  31.  
  32.          General Mouse Control
  33.  
  34. Mouse - moves pointer on screen (!!)
  35.  
  36. Left Button - selects options on menu
  37. screens or performs mode operations on
  38. the work screens.

  40. Right Button - flips between the Main
  41. Menu and the current work screen OR for
  42. cancelling many operations OR for
  43. larger steps when using Plus/Minus
  44. Selectors.
