  8. DESCRIPTION

  10. When REMOTERR is started on a workstation, FFST (First Failure Support 
  11. Technology) probes are fired continuously, thus continuously updating 
  12. the system error log with data from these probes. The only visible 
  13. symptom is that the error log has multiple entries, written right after 
  14. each other.

  17. RESOLUTION

  19. This problem is caused by modification of the SET LANG= statement in 
  20. the CONFIG.SYS file. For U.S. users, the line should read SET LANG=EN_US. 
  21. A complete listing of locales can be found in the OS/2 Warp Command 
  22. Reference under "Setting the System Locale Name."  
  23.  
  24. To resolve the problem, verify that the SET LANG= statement in 
  25. CONFIG.SYS correctly reflects your location.
