  11. DESCRIPTION

  13. After applying CSD (Corrective Service Diskette) WR08210 for MPTS 
  14. (Multi-Protocol Transport Services) and CSD UN00067 for TCP/IP, you are 
  15. able to run DHCPSTART, but there is no activity from the DHCP (Dynamic 
  16. Host Configuration Protocol) Server. The Client is not assigned an IP 
  17. Address.

  19. RESOLUTION

  21. Check for the file DHCPCD.CFG in the \MPTN\ETC directory; if it is not 
  22. present, copy
  23.  
  24. \MPTN\SAMPLES\ETC\DHCPCD.CFG to the \MPTN\ETC directory.

  26. Shutdown and restart the system.
